"When Before Us Lies On Mountain Of Mysteries, What Do We Do? Where Did He Go? Was It To The East Or Was It To The West? One Is Up, One Is Down."

This one of the quotes from the album, I spent a long time just writing words. Though I must admit feeling a little torn over the words, I felt that perhaps I could have written better word. The album is full of question marks, I wanted to invoke a sense of deep mystery, perhaps even a sense of something significant. It seems to me that during the months of creating this album, I pondered long about what was significant, for it seemed to me that anything was only as significant as one thinks it to be. Yet perhaps that’s the wrong way of looking at it. What is full of meaning to one person means nothing to another, yet there are plenty of things that are full of meaning and are completely relevant to hundreds if not millions of people. Perhaps what this project lacks is a pure vision of the giver of meaning, the Lord. From human perspective we see many things for what they appear to be on the surface, where as God sees everything for what it actually is.

This story has been a part of me for years. A story of one mans journey, his experiences, his hopes, his sorrows. I think what makes this story relevant is the true human element. Humans understand each other even if they haven’t both experienced the same exact events. This is that. It is my hope that this album can speak volumes, and not just in words.

It has been my prayer that the project in some way would honer God and Bring Him glory in some way or another.
